Garrus: Sniper of Awesome

I have a confession to make.

When I first played through Mass Effect, I hated Garrus.

D= Why, you might ask? Because I totally loved Nilhus. You remember him, red ensemble, killed by Saren in your first mission...Yeah. After that I felt like Garrus was like a cheap Nilhus replacement, so I generally ignored him, stuffed Wrex and Liara in my group, and went off to storm various space castles blessedly turian-free.

On my second play through I was more perfectionist and attempted to get all the codex entries and stuff and thus I talked a lot with Garrus (because I talked a lot with everyone) and I started to enjoy having our little loose-canon-cop-on-the-edge-with-a-sniper-rifle hanging wbout my ship.

And then when I played Mass Effect 2 I cheered ridiculously during the Archangel mission, because I was starting to feel like these cerberus bastards were the only people I was going to get to play with, and now Garrus is my official favorite.

Well, and Liara in Mass Effect 1. And Tali'Zorah. And Mordin...and Wrex, and Grunt, and...basically any nonhumans.

And Miranda. And Jacob. And Jack.

And Kaiden. <3

The only one I really don't like in general is Ashley and that's only for what happens on Virmire if you don't have enough charm/intimidate points to talk Wrex out of being a jackass. I almost wish there was an option to kill her in one of your dialogue boxes after that.

Anyways, Garrus chibi for a bag design I will be trying to make for NDK. Love it. LOOOOVE IIIIT.
